About Off Center Crafts

Our Roots in Harford County

We’re a retired couple from Harford County, just a pair of “Duck Farmers” — a little nod for the locals who know. Long before we ever set up a booth, we spent our weekends exploring antique shops, estate sales, flea markets, and yard sales. We’ve always loved finding pieces with character and history. Eventually, our small house filled up, so instead of slowing down, we opened a booth and started sharing our finds with others.

From Collectors to Creators

Retirement opened the door to a new kind of project. With more time on our hands, the woodshop became a place to stay busy and create something meaningful. That’s how Off Center Crafts began — with a focus on repurposing materials and turning them into useful, beautiful wooden pieces. Cutting boards, wineโ€‘andโ€‘cheese boards, and charcuterie boards are our specialty, each one shaped by hand and built to last.

Handmade & Laserโ€‘Etched Goods

As the shop grew, so did our curiosity. We expanded into laserโ€‘etched designs, adding artwork and lettering to wood, slate, cork, tumblers, and pint glasses. Every piece — whether rustic, modern, or playful — reflects our belief that simple materials can become something special with a little creativity and care.

What We Believe In

Off Center Crafts is built on three simple ideas:

•      Repurpose what you can. Good materials deserve a

        second life.

•      Create with intention. Handmade should feel

        personal, not massโ€‘produced.

•       Share the joy. Whether it’s an antique find or a

handcrafted board, the right piece always finds the

        right home.

Where You’ve Seen Us

If you’ve visited local events, you may have crossed paths with us already. We’ve set up at Falling Branch Brewery, JVFC craft shows, and a variety of markets around Harford County. Meeting neighbors, fellow makers, and treasure hunters has become one of our favorite parts of this journey.
